About Periodic Today

Periodic Today specializes in producing high-quality calibration and reference standards tailored for Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Our offerings include calibration and reference samples, custom solutions, and collaborative research projects with industry partners. Our laboratory supports a diverse range of research projects with SEM-EDS analysis. 

In our SEM sample laboratory, non-conductive samples can be coated with gold and carbon with our coater ensuring the desired coating thickness (other coating metals can be made on request). We are committed to ensuring precise and reliable results for all SEM imaging needs through our comprehensive suite of services and expertise in sample preparation and automated particle analysis. 

Periodic Today, formerly known as Ardennes Analytique (www.calibrationstandards.net), underwent a transition in August 2023. With this transition, Mr. Ken Mason transferred the business to Periodic Today to continue the journey and provide services to our valued customers. Previously based in the Ardennes region of Belgium for two decades, Ardennes Analytique, helmed by Mr. Ken Mason and late Mr. Angus Cameron, moved to France. With a combined experience of over 30 years in manufacturing hardware and software for particle analysis in forensic, nuclear, and general applications, Mr. Mason and late Mr. Cameron laid a solid foundation of expertise.
